Clearpane, Inc. ("Clearpane," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Clearpane platform — an AI-native observability platform for revenue operations — available at getclearpane.com and app.getclearpane.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you and your organization when you use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to this policy.

1.1 Account and Contact Information

When you register for the Service, we collect your name, email address, company name, and any other information you provide during account creation or onboarding.

1.2 Customer Revenue Data

The Service is designed to ingest, analyze, and surface signals from your connected revenue systems (including CRM, billing, marketing, product, and planning tools). This data — which may include deal records, pipeline stages, forecast figures, and related operational metrics — is referred to in this policy as "Customer Data."

Customer Data belongs to you. We process it only to provide and improve the Service on your behalf. We do not sell, license, or use Customer Data for any purpose unrelated to delivering the Service to you.

1.3 Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect technical information when you use the Service, including:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
• Device and connection information
• Feature usage and interaction patterns
• Error and performance data

1.4 Communications

If you contact us by email or through the Service, we retain those communications to respond to your inquiries and improve our support.

If Clearpane is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a notice on the Service prior to any such transfer.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clearpane, our customers, or others.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and contact information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Customer Data is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon termination or request, Customer Data will be deleted or returned consistent with our Terms of Service and any applicable Data Processing Agreement.

5. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls and authentication enforcement, automated security scanning, and hosting on infrastructure that maintains SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. We conduct routine security reviews and select third-party service providers who meet equivalent security standards.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information and will notify you promptly in the event of a breach affecting your data, as required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights

6.1 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect about you; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and (d) non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

6.2 All Users

Regardless of location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service connects to third-party platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe) at your direction. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies. Clearpane is not responsible for the data practices of third-party services.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
